Everyone in the community is welcome to take a tour of the firehouse and see our apparatus. We have several interactive displays for family and friends. The kids can enjoy a moon bounce and a smokehouse for "Seconds Count". We'll also have a kid size hose line for them to "fight" their own fire and Sparky the Fire Dog will make an appearance.

The team at the SVFD will also demonstrate some of our skills:

This year's theme is "Every Second Counts": Plan 2 Ways Out!

Everyone needs to have an escape because in a fire, seconds count. That's why this year's Fire Prevention Week's theme is so important! Visit the Fire Prevention Week website for more information and ideas to plan your own escape in an emergency.
