The Stafford Volunteer Fire Department showed up and showed out at the Fredericksburg Kid's EXPO on the 9th and 10th of February 2019. Well over 5,000 people attended. Station 2 gave out over 600 children's fire hats, stickers, rulers, crayons, 100 recruitment business cards and fliers. Many thanks to SVFD President John Foster and Stafford County Fire and Rescue Assistant Chief of Operations, Chief Baldwin, visited our booth as well. Aside from these visitors, we also had Sparky the Fire Dog stop by and spend some time with us. A special thanks to all members who manned our booth for this event. We look forward to returning next year.
