He became Chief from 1989 to 1990 and made numerous contributions to keeping the Firehouse afloat, teaching many members what it means to be a proficient truck engineer and giving true meaning to being a 'truckie.' Once retired, Chief McDonald continued to give back to the members at Company Two by inventing the event, the 👥 SVFD coffee break, bringing many members, New and Old, together to tell stories of the many battles Company Two in this county has had to overcome.
