| Surrounded by family, friends, fellow Scouts from Troop 26 at Mt. Ararat Church, members of the SVFD, and representatives from Stafford County, Chris was recognized for achieving one of the highest honors in Scouting — a reflection of his dedication, leadership, service, and character. On behalf of the department, Assistant Chief Abbott presented Chris with a Stafford Volunteer Fire Department company flag that had been flown on one of our apparatus in recognition of this incredible milestone. Representing Aquia District Supervisor Maya Guy, Chief of Staff Ms. Winda Grayson presented Chris with a Stafford County flag to honor his commitment to serving the community at such a young age. As if earning the rank of Eagle Scout was not enough, Chris also graduated from the Stafford County Fire and Rescue High School Firefighter Academy this past Saturday and will graduate high school this Friday. That is truly a “triple crown” achievement! Chris, your dedication to service, leadership, and personal growth already sets an incredible example for others. We are proud to have you as part of the SVFD family and cannot wait to see what the future holds for you. Congratulations, Eagle Scout Underwood! Dedicated 2 Excellence 🚒🦅 |
