| The Stafford Volunteer Fire Department would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who took time out of their day to join us in paying tribute to a man who dedicated so much of his life to serving others. Your presence was a powerful reminder of the lasting impact Chief McDonald had on our department, the fire service, and the community he loved. Johnny Mac was more than a chief—he was a mentor, a leader, a friend, and a passionate advocate for volunteers. The stories shared, memories remembered, and respect shown this morning demonstrated that his legacy continues to live on through those he inspired. Thank you to all who attended and helped make this remembrance so meaningful. It is because of people like you that we ensure the contributions and sacrifices of those who came before us are never forgotten. Chief McDonald’s legacy of service, leadership, and dedication will continue to inspire generations of firefighters to come. |
