Why did you join the fire department? |
My father. Yes, it really is that simple. My father is a fireman and it's the only thing I've ever wanted to be. At a young age it was conveyed to me that the fire service isn't a job but a lifestyle. I enjoyed seeing the drive, passion, and satisfaction that came with putting your heart and soul into the fire service. The comradery that lies within the fire service is also incomparable to anything I have ever been a part of. |

What are your hobbies and/or interests outside of the fire department? |
My most important interest outside of the fire service is my daughter, Laural. I also enjoy watching football and hockey, anything near the water, and listening to music. Hanging out with fire service friends outside of the firehouse is a good time too. |

What do you like best about being part of the fire department? |
Running calls.......it's the reason we are here. Everything else associated with the fire service is a bonus. |

What is your most memorable incident? |
Having been a "live-in" for almost 9 years, I've been fortunate enough to go on a lot of memorable incidents and it would be hard to pinpoint one single call. |
