As winter weather rolls in, we’re asking our community to help keep fire hydrants clear and accessible. If there’s a hydrant near your home or business, please take a few minutes to shovel at least 3 feet in all directions around it.
Those extra minutes it takes to dig out a buried hydrant are precious minutes during a fire. A clear hydrant allows our crews to quickly connect and get water flowing to protect lives and property.
