Last night, with forecasts calling for severe thunderstorms and knowing many families would be celebrating Independence Day with fireworks, two of our dedicated volunteers made the decision to proactively staff Brush 1502 to ensure they were ready to resp

That decision made a difference.

Throughout the evening, Brush 1502 responded to 13 calls for service, providing rapid response to incidents across our community during one of the busiest nights of the year.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to Technician Burkhammer and Firefighter Hilario for their continued commitment, professionalism, and selfless dedication to the citizens of Stafford County. Your willingness to sacrifice your holiday to protect others is a true reflection of the volunteer spirit.
